Man oh man, there is a lot of ocean shipping related legislation being proposed from the U.S. House of Representatives – and another one dropped this week. Let’s break it down. Remember, these are just proposals, but they’re certainly worth taking a look at.

1- The State of California announced $27M in funding for CA ports to support the California Port Data Partnership. Ports involved are: Port of Long Beach, Port of Los Angeles, Port of Oakland, Port of San Diego, and the Port of Hueneme.
