1- We're still on supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking watch! The Federal Maritime Commission's Unreasonable Refusal to Deal or Negotiate with respect to Vessel Space Accommodations Final Rule was required (under OSRA 22) to be released December 16, 2022, but they announced they would be publishing a supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking. We'll be on the lookout!
2- The Federal Trade Commission extended their comment period to April 19 on their proposal of banning noncompete clauses.
3- Laura Curtis of Bloomberg wrote an article "Shipping Execs Gather as Global Supply Chain Hit Calmer Waters" about #TPM23, the major annual shipping industry conference organized by S&P Global.
