Today we’re doing something a little different. The International Longshore Warehouse Union (ILWU) and the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) contract negotiations are still ongoing. Recall, the contract expired June 30, 2022 and their discussions began in May of 2022.
On May 13, 2022, we covered this contract negotiations as well as the long history of the two parties through many iterations of contract negotiations. Today I would like to revisit that discussion – we will be playing a rebroadcast of the May 13, 2022 By Land and By Sea episode where we covered the ILWU and PMA contract negotiations through the years.
