Topic of the Week (1/13/23):
We review the recent petition filed against the FMC's NEPA review. Are they being bad environmental stewards? Let's break it down.
The Maritime Professorᵀᴹ presents By Land and By Sea - an attorney breaking down the week in supply chain
with Lauren Beagen (Founder of The Maritime Professorᵀᴹ and Squall Strategies)
Let's dive in...
1- We're still on final rule watch! The Federal Maritime Commission's Unreasonable Refusal to Deal or Negotiate with respect to Vessel Space Accommodations Final Rule was required (under OSRA 22) to be released December 16, 2022 - still nothing on the website as of this posting.
2- Federal Trade Commission's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking re: banning all non-compete clauses is now published and accepting comments!
3- Christopher Aversano published an extremely helpful infographic of maritime podcasts out there in the wild!
