Topic of the Week (1/6/23):
We’re back! And there is a lot going on – like always! Let’s ease back into all things ocean shipping and supply chain together – today is a mixed bag, but… By Land and By Sea is BACK to help you sort through the noise and understand it all in real people speak.
The Maritime Professorᵀᴹ presents By Land and By Sea - an attorney breaking down the week in supply chain
with Lauren Beagen (Founder of The Maritime Professorᵀᴹ and Squall Strategies)
Let's dive in...
1- The Federal Maritime Commission's Unreasonable Refusal to Deal or Negotiate with respect to Vessel Space Accommodations Final Rule was required (under OSRA 22) to be released December 16, 2022 - still nothing on the website as of this posting.
2- Federal Trade Commission published a non-compete rule yesterday, banning all non-compete clauses.
